Pump KAN

technical description
Type KAN pumps are single-stage horizontal impeller pumps with closed impeller provided with balanced blades for reduction of longitudinal forces and pressure upstream the stuffing box. At the drive side, the pump body is closed with a stuffing box, which creates the chamber together with the joining element, where the cooling liquid for cooling the packing working area is fed, what is recommended when pumping media having the temperature more than 100^oC. The shaft is mounted in two oil-lubricated rolling bearings, and the controller maintains constant oil level. The pumps are provided with either cord packing or mechanical packing of different types. We use mechanical packing produced by various producers: ANGA, J. CRANE, FLOWSERVE, BURGMANN including producers according to the customers wish.
The pump with motor, mounted to the foundation plate, is the pump set. Foundation plates are provided with the opening for pouring the cement mortar to the foundation and threaded holes for leveling the pump set. The pump set construction allows repairing without removing the pump body, pipelines and motor, therefore, there is no need to align pump set units (with the use of coupling with distance sleeve) after repair, what saves a lot of time.
